Context
Faced with rising energy costs and environmental requirements, a pasta manufacturer sought to replace its traditional heating system with a more sustainable alternative. The goal was to reduce its reliance on gas boilers while maintaining an optimal temperature for drying the pasta.
Solution
MTA implemented a hybrid solution combining high-temperature heat pumps and a heat recovery system. This installation captures thermal energy from the existing cooling processes and feeds it back into the heating circuit.
The system was integrated without disrupting production and tuned to maximise energy efficiency. With this approach, the factory drastically reduced its gas consumption while maintaining precise thermal control.
